04559 σαρκικός, ή, όν 形容詞
σαρκικός是指「屬於σάρξ᾽肉體的」。另一方面，σάρκινος是包含或由血氣組成，有肉體的。「血氣的，肉體，世俗的樣子」。

一、屬於世上事物或物質的等級τὰ σαρκικά養身之物，羅15:27 林前9:11 。

二、屬於肉體的範圍，它是軟弱的，有罪的暫時的，並在這些方面與屬靈的成對比：(ἄνθρωποι)σ.屬乎肉體的，林前3:4 公認經文；ὅπλα兵器，林後10:4 ；σοφία聰明，林後1:12 。αἱ σαρκικαὶ ἐπιθυμίαι肉體的私慾，彼前2:11 ；指不成熟的基督徒，σαρκικοί ἐστε你們仍是屬肉體的，林前3:3 上，下。除此外，σαρκικός出現為異版，在羅7:14 林前3:1 來7:16 中，在這所有地方，異版亦屬公認經文。*
