| 02052 ἐριθεία, ας, ἡ 名詞 原指因不公平待遇而求諸政府機關，在新約中的意義推測而得，近代語言學者不以它與ἔρις爭吵有關，而保羅在 林後12:20 加5:20 所列之惡行中ἔρις和ἐριθεῖαι並列，也顯明其可能無關。然而，此說也不完全適用於保羅和他的跟隨者，所以「爭吵，爭鬥」之意不能排除（參 腓1:17,15 ），但各例中以自私，自利之意為佳。帶ζῆλος嫉妒， 雅3:14,16 。κατὰ ἐριθείαν結黨， 腓2:3 ；ἐξ ἐ.出於結黨， 腓1:17 ；οἱ ἐξ ἐ.結黨者， 羅2:8 。複數：「出於自私的爭吵」或「騷動」， 林後12:20 加5:20 。* |
