「管家，司财务者」。

一、字义：

A. 指私人事务的「管家」。 ὁ πιστὸς οἰκ. ὁ φρόνιμος忠心有见识的管家，路12:42 。相似者：ζητεῖται ἐν τοῖς οἰκονόμοις, ἵνα πιστός τις εὑρεθῇ所求于管家的，是要他有忠心，林前4:2 。他管理主人的财产，路16:1,3 。ὁ οἰκ. τῆς ἀδικίας不义的管家，路16:8 。带ἐπιτρόπους监护人，加4:2 。

B. ὁ οἰκ. τῆς πόλεως城里管银库的，罗16:24 。

二、喻意：指属灵事件的「管家」。使徒是οἰκονόμοι μυστηρίων θεοῦ神奥秘事的管家，林前4:1 。故监督必须自己表现得如同θεοῦ οἰκ.神的管家，多1:7 。而基督徒一般而言也是θεοῦ οἰκ.或καλοὶ οἰκ. ποικίλης χάριτος θεοῦ神百般恩赐的好管家，彼前4:10 。*
